    Works well
For the price this works wonderful. It really doesn’t heat up much and my PC only has 1 fan so that’s a really good thing. Another thing I enjoy is that It doesn’t consume to much power.

    Complete Trash at first
This CPU was a waste of money at the time when I first purchased it. I spent so much money upgrading from socket AM3+ to AM4 that I lost count of how much money I spent only to discover that every operating system that I have will not run with this CPU. Noting I currently have is compatible with it except maybe DOS which is pretty much completely useless today. It seems that it’s only compatible with Mac-Row Soft windows HO-HO and Windows Ding-Dong. Or in other words, It was designed to just run a gaming operating system and that’s about it. This will be the last AMD system that I will build due to all the headaches and problems that I went through to get it installed and running on a ASUS Prime X370A motherboard from 2017. I had to do some extensive research and purchase 2 addition CPU’s (A6-9500 and Ryzen 5 3600) to make sure this old mother board actually worked (which surprisingly it did) and to get the BIOS updated to the lastest 2024 BIOS to support this Ryzen 7 5700 CPU which I finally achieved today. I currently have Fedora 33 Linux installed and working fine. Next I will have to download modified drivers for Windows 2000, XP 64 bit and Vista 64 Bit and install those too. I don’t run any newer Microsoft Operating System because of how wide the tool chains are and how dangerous they are to have connected to the internet. I learnt the hard way to never trust Microsoft security updates again because they don’t work.

    A great upgrade
The Ryzen 7 series is a solid choice for gamers and professionals looking for a balance of power and efficiency. If you’re building a PC with your own graphics card, the Ryzen 7 5700 is a great option.

Good deal for the price despite not being the best of its segment
The processor has given me a boost of 20% performance in gaming, my previous one from the 3000 series was kinda bottlenecking my system due to only having 6 threads. This processor is good for my system since im still on the am4 platform, my advice is to update the BIOS to latest version before you actually assemble it – i had an old bios, at first it wasnt recognizing the CPU, mounted my old 3500x back, updated bios and i was good to go.

    Good Card
This is a good card that is plenty capable. If you have the extra little bit of money, just go ahead and get the 5700x instead. This card is good for gaming, but the 5700x is great.

    Good CPU, meh cooler
The cooler looked used from the amount of scratches it had straight out of the box. The thermal paste/pad the was pre-applied looked awful but seems to be working just fine for now. I’d recommend buying a third party cooler or at least repairing the stock cooler with some proper thermal paste. The CPU itself is solid, good speed, doesn’t run too hot in general, works perfectly in my system with 128GB of memory. No complaints other than the meh cooler.
