Great bulbs 100% recommend
If I could give these more than five, I would I used to have Phillips Hue bulbs, which were way more expensive than these ones and you had to have a bridge. They were nowhere near as good as these bulbs and no bridge.I now have geeni bulbs in every light in my house. I am upgrading the ones in my Living Room lamps from the regular geeni soft white to the color ones because the white is brighter I just need ones a little brighter for my living room because my living room is a little darker than average. plus I can change the colors for holidays. I 100% recommend these bulbs. They are easy to set up. You can use them with Google or Alexa. you don’t need a bridge. Or hub just simply download the geeni app hit the little plus symbol and follow the set up instructions. If you have a dual band wi-Fi and are using 5G wi-Fi in order to set these bulbs up you will have to switch your phone or whatever device you’re setting them up with to 4 GHz wi-Fi unfortunately you can’t use 5G to set them up after they are set up. You can switch back to your 5G Wi-Fi on your phone or whatever you’re setting up with and you can still control the lights. They just have to be set up using 4GHz network. Trust me they are really easy to set up.I have zero patients for setting things up i get frustrated very quickly with these. They’re easy no issues. I haven’t had any issues with any of these bulbs except for once and I think it was because dropped the bulb so it may have been damaged but other than that, these are great bulbs

These have always been my preferred bulb when it comes to smart bulbs. The first ones I purchased were from Walmart but they stopped carrying them. I still use those and they are well over 5+ years old. These are an upgrade from the original but still easily inter fraction and setup.

Let there be light! Illuminating Your Smart Home with Top-Tier Smart Bulbs!
We added three of these to the overhead light in my youngest’s room. She LOVES the option to change the colors and the different “scenes” available in the app. We had a little trouble at first getting all three lights “grouped” but once we figured that out, the app works to turn them all off or on together. We are still working on keeping Alexa consistently connected but I think that’s user error!Smart home items that are affordable are especially useful in our household because my husband and I are full-time wheelchair users. When my little one has a messy floor, I’m still able to turn on and off the lights with my voice without having to reach the light switch.I was worried the lights wouldn’t be as bright as her previous LED bulbs but they are not only BRIGHT but it’s also really nice to change the temperature of the light. I prefer white white to yellow white. These are great smart bulbs! No regrets!

BLUETOOTH REQUIRED – Contrary to it saying they work via Wi-Fi like previous models, they don’t
I’ve been purchasing Geeni products for about 7 years, and have had all kinds of indoor/outdoor cameras and smart plugs and maybe 12 light bulbs total, 4 different models/types of light bulbs in the past all controlled via the Geeni app.This is the first Geeni (or compatible Merkury branded) product that has required bluetooth to be able to control via the app. When you disable bluetooth, the bulb “grays out” in the app and is unavailable. When you select it, you are blocked by a pop up window insisting you enable Bluetooth.Why is is this necessary? And why is ALL of the marketing and technical information incorrect/deceptive? Not a happy customer.Problem number 1: Privacy/Security, this opens the door to a number of concerns.Problem number 2: All this extra bluetooth traffic in the house has caused my other basic devices to drastically suffer. I can’t even walk around listening to my AirPods now, it cuts out when more than 10ft away from the source. Turn the light switches all off which turns off power to these BLUETOOTH ENABLED BULBS and viola, AirPods work like they used to.Problem number 3: Basic app functionality, need your bluetooth turned off for some other reason and now you can’t control these bulbs. Also, they are acting very finicky when I come/go out the front door and leave bluetooth range they app essentially doesn’t auto reconnect unless I force-quit and relaunch the app or try to connect to the bulb, then dismiss the error message I get, then try to reconnect and SOMETIMES it becomes available again.The ONLY thing I liked better about these versus ALL the other previous models Geeni has made is they have a cool/warm white variability… The others including Edison style always only offered warm white. But still, that doesn’t fix these other issues including the bluetooth interference is just too much. I will need to track down their older models. The only reason I replaced my old ones was during a recent power outage, the power spiked when restored and it fried a few of my old bulbs.

This is an awesome product. Easy set up, beautiful colors and easy to use! I scheduled my back door light to come on when I go to work, turn off for the day, and to be back on when I get home!!!Best thing is, I live where winter can be -50 with the wind chill…brrrr…and this light help up outside!!!

The best part of these lights is that I can operate them from anywhere. Great to have if your away and need to have lights on a timer. Easy to use and a quick set up.* I. do not have Alexa/Google so no idea if that works with the lights.

Very decent product. easy to configure in the Geeni app. Although Google home is limited and some options are not available from Google. Way around is to make good config in the Geeni APP and call them with Google. Don’t ask me about Alexa… I have no idea.
