cool concept but connectivity is frustrating
i got this smart pen set thinking it would be useful for taking notes during client consultations in my salon & maybe help with organizing my renovation planning. the idea of having handwritten notes automatically digitized seemed perfect for someone like me who prefers writing by hand but needs digital records.the pens themselves feel good in your hand – comfortable grip & the erasable gel writes smoothly. having 4 pens in the set is nice since i’m always losing pens around the salon. the digital notebook paper has a subtle pattern that doesn’t interfere with normal writing.when the bluetooth connection works, the digitization is pretty accurate. it captures handwriting well & the ocr (text recognition) is decent for reasonably neat handwriting. being able to convert notes to text for client records is useful when it actually works properly.the app has some nice features like organizing notes into folders & searching through digitized text. you can also share notes via email which is convenient for sending color formulas or appointment details to clients.here’s where it gets frustrating – the bluetooth connectivity is unreliable. sometimes the pen connects immediately, other times i’m sitting there for 10 minutes trying to get it to sync while my client waits. lost several important consultation notes because the connection dropped mid-session.battery life on the pens is shorter than advertised. with regular salon use, i’m charging them every couple days instead of the week they claim. the charging case helps but it’s just another thing to keep track of & remember to charge.the app also crashes occasionally, especially when trying to process longer notes or multiple pages at once. lost work a few times when the app froze during syncing.it’s a neat concept & when everything works properly, it’s actually pretty useful. but the reliability issues make it hard to depend on for important notes. might be better as a backup system rather than your primary note-taking method. could be great once they work out the connectivity bugs.

I am really impressed with the functionality of this notebook. The ability to write on paper and have them instantly digitalized is incredibly convenient . It syncs smoothly and being able to organize everything digitally is mind blowing.One thing I did noticed was that is sometimes the digital version of my writing doesn’t perfectly match my strokes on paper. It’s a small discrepancy but still worth mentioning if precision is extremely important to you.I adore the ability to wipe or erase the pen from the paper quickly and completely. It definitely adds to flexibility while taking notes, sketching or brainstorming ideas.It is lightweight, and easy to carry. I am extremely happy with it and I recommend it to anyone who wants to blend traditional note taking and modern tech.
