You get what you pay for. Quality, reliability, and longevity.
I purchased these to replace some incandescent bulbs in my kitchen. I already have them in almost every room of my house and they last for years. I’m still using the original Hue bulbs I purchased in 2009. Yes they are more expensive than competitors, but you truly get what you pay for, so to me the additional cost is well worth it. They are responsive, easy to set up, and work every time.

Hue bulbs are awesome
Another great bulb from hue. Vivid colors and great brightness. My wife loved these also. We used them in the entryway of the house and having the entrance green for Halloween was quite a treat for the kids when they peered at the glow from the window and commented on how spooky it looked.

Great mood lighting
I have Hue bulbs throughout my house and I couldn’t be happier with them. These white ambience lights are great for using in my existing highhats. They give off plenty of light and Philips has tons of light recipes to choose from in their app so you can set the mood according to how you feel. You can also create your own light setting. These light will work with Bluetooth or for a full slate of settings you can connect them with the Hue bridge. If you are going to use more than 10 lights then you must use the bridge. I love these lights and highly recommend them. They aren’t cheap but they are worth it especially if you are just starting out with smart lighting as no other company offers you the quality and variety of lights that Philips does. If you use Apple HomeKit these work great. They also connect to Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. I personally prefer the security and the user interface of Apple but I have tried it with Alexa as well and was happy with the results. You can’t go wrong with these lights.

Love everything about this product!
This is such an amazing light system and allows you to program the colour for each room. I just purchased 4 to use my bathroom and it took seconds to connect them in my app. They work amazingly well with no flickering and save a great deal of energy. I realise that they may seem not so budget friendly but they really are worth their weight in gold.

Expensive but worth it for smart homes
Works like expected. Colors are nice. More pastel colors but these work great for my outdoor lights out back. Signal strength has not been an issue even for the distance one is from the hub and router. Now Hue is NOT CHEAP in PRICE or QUALITY. These will be your higer end lights on the market and the cost reflects that as well as the feel, weight, quality of the Hue lights, pick up any other brand (i have other brands) in your hand and compare. These have way better range also over the others I have tried.

Absolutely love
I have been slowly replacing all my bulbs to phillps hue. I have had my originals for over two years and they are still as stunning as ever. They work great with voice control, scenes and automation that have made my life a little more illuminated(sorry for the pun). My kids have no issue with them either speaking with Alexa to control them. One caveat is if they are on an old dimmer switch. You need to have the phillips hue dimmers or they start flashing. Great product and excellent service.

Love all the Hue lights,
I enjoy using the hue lights because with certain apps it’s like you can have a colorful party. I think this is my favorite lightbulb. They are expensive, but the other brands need to be reprogrammed every time the electricity goes out. I would prefer not to go through the hassle every time so for me it saves me time in having to reprogram and it’s a good value for the money.

Pratique pour contrôler l’éclairage à distance: allumer, éteindre et contrôler l’intensité. On dit à google (verbalement ou par l’application) ce que l’on veut faire et le tour est joué! Nous on a choisit les Philips car on sait que la qualité est là.

I connected Bluetooth first in iOS app and did firmware update – not sure if was necessary. Was easy to add to zigbee2mqtt and can control in home assistant fine. I am using a Sonoff 3.0 P dongle for coordinator.
