Weighing less than 2 sheets of paper, Frontpage Reading Glasses are feather-light, durable and ultra-thin. They fit so comfortably in the front pocket of your pants, you may forget they’re with you. Paired with a brushed aluminum, felt-lined 4mm case, they gracefully nest together for protection and portability. Frontpage are full-frame readers, which are a more familiar form factor, without the bulk, for people who have used reading glasses in the past. Both Frontpage styles fit in the felt-lined and magnetic Milano case, but will not fit in the other systems for ThinOptics Readers. Frontpage Reading Glasses are created from medical device materials, like Nitinol, the super-elastic metal alloy used for heart stents. Lenses are incredibly slim, and made from bulletproof-strong polycarbonate lenses. Yep, we don’t mess around. Top quality materials help make both styles light, comfy and durable.

    Durably portable
These well-made glasses and case have eliminated the frustration of always having to resort to less than elegant ways to carry reading glasses with me. Typical glasses are too bulky for pockets and inevitably get scratched up from whatever else gets tossed in there. Using one of the temples to hang the glasses on a pocket or shirt collar might work short-term but I always forget they’re there after a while and often end up taking them places I wish I didn’t (like in a car with the shoulder belt pinching them against me). Taking them out of pockets or from hanging on a shirt also often enough involves the hinges getting tangled up in fabric threads. First world problems? Sure. But it would be good if, instead of having several pairs of reading glasses strategically placed where I’ll need them to avoid the portability problem, I can own one pair and safely, conveniently carry them wherever, even backpacking. This pair is that one pair I need. Plus, the optical quality is quite good, no distortion near the periphery, and they don’t seem to get scratched. The case fits them like a glove and I hardly notice it’s there in my pocket, it’s so thin. Probably bombproof, but I haven’t run that test yet. The pin for the hinge is a little loose and can start slipping out, but that hasn’t created a real problem yet. Last thing, they rest very light on the nose, so no marks means they get the highest marks.

Much better than expected. (4 month update)
Update: after over 4 months use I love them even more! They might be very lightweight but they are well-engineered and not flimsy or delicate at all. I’m thinking of buying a second pair if I lose these – IMHO they are that good.I wear readers all the time and wanted an upgrade from your typical Big Box store selection. I was hesitant about buying online because a lot of glasses that look fine in a picture don’t look fine on you. I picked Tortoise because I would never pick tortoise – I wanted a change. I was pleasantly surprised that the glasses feel precision and high quality and the tortoise is understated – it doesn’t demand attention but just adds a little extra that I very much like. They are slim and light and fit nicely into their flat case that they figure people might stick to the back of a phone. That might be a little tight for an iPhone SE but it wasn’t why I bought it. All in all – very pleased with them. Let’s see how they last for an all-day, everyday wearer. Right now, though, I am delighted with my purchase.

    Perfect travel/every day companion
These are amazingly thin and comfortable to wear. The quality is great and the size is even better. The round shape is much better than the rectangle option as there is more coverage for easier reading. They are thin and a bit delicate but that is to be expected for an ultra thin pair of glasses. Even with normal every day use these should last a while.

The case is magnetic but is two separate pieces. (Broken or poor design?)
As in the title, basically the 2nd time I put them on and then put them in the case- which has an instructive insert to help. It’s just a perfect fit face down on the velvet side instead of face up or you will have a hard time trying to make them fit.It is a quick smooth action and satisfying feeling to lay them down face forward because they fit instantly and then case easily snaps down securely into the flat metal cool case. There must be some sort of small bar that is missing from the hinge? It easily opened but, it separated into two pieces right away which it seems happened to others. I guess I have to try to call the company?. I like the cool look of the blue circular lens but note that the bridge over nose slightly bows out I noticed- my face must be wide? They feel so delicate because they are so light. I do wish they had progressive versions for reading close and desktop computer distance. I have an iPhone 13 max pro in an apple leather case and found an otter box magsafe wallet type add on that folds around the front and back and is the best way to protect phone screen and leather case. It has openings along inside towards the top and is a perfect fit to keep the glasses case! I also added a pop sockets MagSafe holder in black which I was skeptical about but it is a very strong magnet so I can easily hold it all safely. All together quite an expensive venture but I can use the glasses and always have them without adding adhesive to anything.

    Super thin Optics, love it
As advertised, indeed super thin Optic. Fit well. The reading is perfect. Easy to carry around since it is super thin, can put it in your pocket including the case and fully functional. Very flexible, its fringe. Easy to wear even though it feels so thin. It is also scratch resistance. But just one point, below the nose bridge the metal edge seems sharp require a bit of caution not to drag the spec down the nose.

    You need to know
Love the glasses but when you are very careful to put them in the case provided they still get scratches and that is why the 3 star rating and I hate that because these are NOT cheap.

    Best lightweight glasses
I have a couple of pairs of these in case one breaks. I also have a ton of other cheaper reading glasses. All of them were causing indentations in my nose– and, for some reason, the marks were red. I would look awful after wearing my glasses and I have to wear them for long periods of time when I work. Whenever choosing reading glasses, my criteria was the weight, really– and lens quality of course. The lens quality on these are great– Everything is completely clear, no blurriness, no fogginess or anything to interfere with vision. The weight? These are the only glasses I can wear for the whole day that DON’T cause indentations in my nose. I LOVE them. I’ve had them for over a month now, wear them daily and, when I take them off, there are no marks on my nose. I will only buy these from now on. Even if they break every two months, I’ll buy another pair.I think the case is fantastic. I have it attached to my phone with the provided tape and find it very convenient. I used to lose my other reader all over the house and find myself in the kitchen when all the glasses were upstair, etc. Now I have these with me all the time. I haven’t used another brand since I bought these.
