Exactly as Described
Could not be happier with this purchase. Great replacement for the Ring doorbell. Changed out because decided to expand the system to include security cameras and motion detectors. Wish the doorbell was flatter but it works well and the battery life is far longer than what it replaced (months between recharging vs weeks). Camera quality is excellent and motion sensors are ideal for my needs. Easy to expand further with a wide variety of additional, easy to install cameras and flood lights.
It’s not bad, if I up the sensitivity then the batteries in the ones that use them will be used faster. If I lower the sensitivity then if a dog or person is in view won’t start to record till it or they are almost by. 🤷♂️ it is what it is –
Blink
I forgot Blink only allows 10 cameras on their plan. That’s fine, I was a few short. We needed a front door camera bell so that was an easy choice. My only problem is you can’t choose a few to be turned on while at home instead it’s all on or all off. If I’m home I don’t need the ones inside the house on. Maybe down the road they can figure a fix where we can do that.

Battery lasts longer than older version
First off battery life is extended from the first generation doorbell. Video is brighter, and definitely clearer and cleaner. If you have the first generation doorbell camera, don’t hesitate upgrade today! Haven’t installed the outdoor blink yet, but Video is much more bright and clearer than the first generation of blink camera’s.

Love these cameras
Best cameras I have found, I have them all over my house and now as a doorbell as well. I like that I have 100% visibility all around inside and outside my house as I bought indoor cameras too. I have not had to change a single battery since installing them and have had them in for a few months now. It’s small and discrete and helps keep my house and family safe

The image quality is great for the price and the night vision is clear. The app is easy to use and intuitive. I would buy it again. But I would also like it to be able to record in historical and not only by motion detection and image capture
