    Works well. No issues.
Works well. Easy to set up. I had issues but that is on my internet provider’s fault. This modem has been working well for 4 days now. Will update in the future if anything happens.Update:It’s been like 5 months now. I’ve been using internet via this thing without any issues. One thing I gotta say is my internet service is 50mbps, way below the capability of this modem router, so I cannot comment in term of max speed. I do get all my 50mbps.I have Xfinity. This device has been very reliable with my current service. I never had to restart the router due to drop connection in the past 5 months. (I had this issue a lot in the past, not sure if due to other modems/router or due to my previous internet services.)This device got 5Ghz wifi which allows me to play Xbox games from the cloud. In short, great device, I’m glad I bought this. I actually bought a used one here for maybe a third or a quarter the cost of a new unit

    no problems
Easy enough to setup if you are familiar with tech…it auto connected to Xfinity and worked. I used both the web interface and app; both seem required. Be aware there are some weird things, for instance it auto-changed my password to some random one and I found it only through the app, where I reset it (again and its held). Been going strong for 4 days now, maybe took 20 minutes to setup. I never had to reset it to factory or call anybody’s tech support, so that’s a good thing as far as it’s setup, too. It does not have a remote/WAN access entry !

Purchased used like new. Said box was damaged but it was alread activated under another account.
Purchased “used like new.” Said box was damaged but it was already activated under another account. I always but warehouse deals since they are usually new items with messed up packaging. Not this time. The modem could not activate. Why? It was previously used on another account. Since logs show that it was only powered up for ten hours max they were able to clear the previous user and password and make the modem usable. It works FANTASTICALLY!!! Speeds were previously hovered around 20-40Mbps and would drop constantly (5 year old modem), bot it is rock solid and fast. 140Mbps average. Still not happy that it was not listed as previously used instead of “damaged box.” I the end it was a good item for a good price for a little headache.

1 year in and still working great
I purchased this modem around a year ago in May of 2020 and it’s one of the best routers I’ve used.I work as a network and systems administrator and I’m nerdy enough that I’ve built my own home network with multiple VLANs using the arris as my gateway.I’ve only had 2 main issues.1. It doesn’t always play nice with the upstream/downstream power of the connection and I’ve had to use attenuaters at 2 of the 3 addresses I’ve used it at.2. There were times when I had bandwidth issues and other intermittent connectivity when using the wifi but that was before I put all of my IOT devices on a 2.4GHz guest network as well as spreading out the load with my other devices on the appropriate 2.4 or 5G bands (or Ethernet of course). The router interface is a little clunky and doesn’t allow you to rename devices that I’ve found which isn’t ideal but it’s not a hill I’m willing to die on.I would like to eventually upgrade to a better Arris Surfboard model and use this model as an AP/Router to further even out the load of my network. If you are having connectivity issues with this router the 3 main issues to look into are:1. If you need to attenuate the stream2. IOT devices causing interference on high traffic areas and bands3. Good old ISP might just be pulling a fast one on you and throttling. Worth calling ISP support and Arris support to trouble shoot these issues.Very happy with this router and I will never rent from an ISP company again. I’ve never worked with an ISP rented modem that didn’t give me months of headaches.

Arris Cable Router Modem — couldn’t be more pleased
I needed to replace my Arris Router and was determined to get another from the same manufacturer. This one was just as presented by the seller and has been working reliably, just like its predecessor. The seller was easy to work with, got the router to me promptly, and it was just as advertised. I appreciated the moderate price, as well as the compact size of the unit. Simple-looking, streamlined, powerful, with a sufficient signal strength, despite the fact that reception in my apartment can be iffy. I would certainly recommend this seller as well as this product.

Loved the idea of reducing clutter and was very easy to install to only realize that Cogeco doesn’t accept it
