100% an upgrade over the original headstrap.
Soo much better than the headstrap the quest 3 comes with. My daughter is 7 years old and I purchased the vr headset for her. With the original headstrap she would have red marks all over her face from the amount of pressure required to keep it still. With the headstrap its much easier to get set to your sizing and much more secure. I opted for the one without the battery because I like that the battery is her screen time limiter.

The quality of the adjustable plastic scared me a little when I was assembling it, but it does stays still on your head.Pretty EASY to install, I usually take my time on understanding instructions but these were pretty clear to me, assembly took less than 10 minutes and it included EVERYTHING to do it, even a small screw.I can’t explain how much of a positive change this is for the quest. I’m happy with this one as I could upgrade my quest 2 to 3 without having to buy a whole new head strap.

Ok head strap
Works pretty well except it often falls off the headset. It’s not as secure as the original strap.Chose this kind to help my 8 year old adjust the strap by himself but he always needs help reattaching the strap.

Worth the purchase
My teenager uses his Oculus daily, but the original battery only lasted about an hour, which left him pretty frustrated. After purchasing this battery, he can now play for hours without interruptions or needing to recharge. He’s happy, and so am I! This was a great purchase with no regrets. I highly recommend it to anyone who plays regularly

I ordered this for my son. He loves it and says it’s more comfortable and sturdy than the original strap (Meta Quest 2). It was easy enough to put on his headset. He did it himself.
