small, easy setup & good vid quality
the dashcam i spent 3x the money on not even a year ago wouldn’t write but every other file. consequently i was only getting vids every other 5 minutes, so i got this to try instead.the device is nice and small thanks to no display screen. as such i was able to place it directly under my rear view mirror so it blends in. fyi two things. first be sure to clean the glass area before putting on the glass. also before sticking in place have it connected to its wifi network so you can aim it right using the image on your phone.the app works ok no issues. you need register within the app. after just follow the simple instructions to proceed. FYI during that process it’ll ask you for ‘the password ‘ it’s not the one you set for the app, it’s the default one as shown on the docs that come with the cam.i don’t use wifi to access vids. i always pull the sd card and then look at saved vids on my pc. i used a 256gb card. once inserted and powered on it will say “to format card press the power button.” for that size card it took approximately a minute to complete. it’ll tell you when it’s finished. side note…you do not need to be connected to your phone for this to record. you can do that but again it isn’t necessary.I’m happier with this dashcam than the two i had before. it may be basic but it does a goid job and i really like how small it is. so far no complaints.

Nowadays you need a dash cam to record whatever happens on the road. So when I purchased my first car I wanted to be sure. I saw this one and for the price I thought let’s try it out. Installing it and setting up the app on my phone was very easy. One thing that I found difficult was that it comes with this small thin sheet that is meant to stick to your windshield so that you don’t have to stick the tape of the camera onto the windshield. Well this sheet didn’t stick on my car at all and I didnt want to stick it straight on the windshield so I got some basic tape and placed it over the sticky tape part and mounted the dash cam. One other thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is that my phone disconnects and reconnects to it pretty frequently and it alerts you when this happens so it goes off from time to time. It’s not a dealbreaker it just can get kinda annoying. It’s pretty good quality whenever I need to look back at what I record I can see everything clearly. I commute a lot for school and work so I wanted to make sure I have enough space to record everything so I also bought a large size micro SD card.

I have 2 of these – mounted front and rear in my SUV. they work perfectly. Clear, easy to review video if you remove the SD card and load from computer. If just viewing on phone, the download is very slow.All and all, good choice.

Decent camera, but it has some flaws.
Decent dash cam but it has its quirks. It filled up a 128gb sd card QUICK. Not only that it will drain your battery even quicker if you don’t have a power switch for it. It’s a good camera and it’s easy to use but it has its quirks. Decent for the price.

Almost perfect for the price.
For what I paid for it, it’s good. The app for it works well enough. I threw a 128gb card in it. Set it up for 5 minutes videos, and I leave it plugged in all the time. Doesn’t draw much power, went a month without using the vehicle it is in, has no issues starting it after that time, so there is very little battery drain. Video quality is awesome. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because once it is mounted, you can’t move it. So, there’s no transferring it between vehicles.
