Answer: Step 1 Power on; Step 2 Hold the “ON” button on remote about 3-5 seconds until the lights start flashing.

Answer: No, it only works with 2.4 GHz
Question 3: Can you cut the strip and where?
Answer: Yes, there are gold lines where to cut. But the cut off piece has to be connected to a controller.

Bought these for my 11 year old grandson for his birthday, and he loves them.

I am now on my 3rd set of these lights and let me start with the good.Pros:Phone connection is very good, streamlined, and effective. The Tuya app provides a lot of great features and customization. A few bugs here and there, but are fixed with a few simple steps. Colors are bright, adhesion is good, but not extremely sticky (which is good so it doesn’t fully rip off the paint off your walls).Cons:Though the lights wont rip off ALL the paint, it may take off a little paint here and there if you remove them. Unfortunately I had to remove some sets of the light for replacement because 1-3 LED’s went bad (Blue LED no longer worked for 3 LEDS, 2 Red LED’s no longer worked on another strip). Keep in mind that I had these lights only for about a month with not a lot of run time and some LED’s already went bad, but that is the price you pay for these. They are great lights for the price, but you may run the risk of some LED’s burning out (which is fairly standard with lights in this segment).

Didn’t work at first, great customer service
Update 1: After getting a reply from customer service we were able to trouble shoot my problem and they are working great now. I already have them connected to my phone, that was no problem. Love the lights now.This just didn’t work. I put one strip up and plugged it in, nothing. I got the other strip, plugged it in, nothing. I also ordered the 100ft, plugged it in nothing. Contacted Daybetter, tried chat first, waited 10 minutes for a reply, nothing. I contacted through email, nothing.That sucks because the LED bulbs I ordered before works great so I thought I would expand and get the strips.

NOT CUTTABLE!!!!
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! These lights are NOT what they claim to be. Thankfully I’ve had strip lights before and wanted to replace them. Biggest regret. As soon as I opened them I knew they were NOT CUTTABLE. I did plug them in to make sure they all worked (they did) so I started to install them. They adhesive does not adhere. They lasted about 30 minutes MAYBE before they started drooping and completely coming off. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY on these. Aside from them all lighting there’s nothing good about these. Repurchasing the other ones I had 🤦🏽♀️ i never should’ve tried to “upgrade” to cuttable.

Colors are a spice of life
This product was easy to install. I even did it and I’m only five six with a step stool. It was easy to install. The remote makes the colors that you choose beautiful. You can dim them up and you can dim them down. You pick awesome! This is my second time getting these. I will buy more
