Good choice for newbies!
This is a very accessible drone, especially for those who haven’t flown one before or who are just getting into the hobby. I like that it comes in a compact case with all the accessories and that it connects easily to your phone for the camera view and extra control. The flying itself is very intuitive and makes drone flying fun and easy for even our little kids.The battery life is very impressive and I love that it comes with an extra. We have flown it briefly multiple times after fully charging and the battery is still over half full.I will say that I live in a windy location and I have to be careful not to fly the drone too high or else the wind could carry it away. I’m not sure if this is typical for all drone flying, but it certainly is of this model. That said, it is stable overall when it flies and holds its own against a light breeze.If you need a professional drone or are looking for a very high-end model, this probably isn’t for you because it’s simple and doesn’t have a lot of fluff. But for a family who is just experimenting with drone flying, this is a perfect option to have fun and not get frustrated with quality and user experience.

I have always wanted a drone
I have always wanted a drone but was afraid I would crash it or wouldn’t be able to figure out how to fly it because I don’t have the best coordination. I was also afraid of spending a lot of money and the drone breaking. This little drone is perfect for me and a great price point for drones this size. It comes with a user guide that tells you exactly what to do to operate it effectively. After charging up the battery and controller I was ready to go. You can download the app for use of the video but it’s nice that you can also operate this without an app. The app is easy to navigate though. The photo of the trees was saved from the drone camera through the app. It connected to the controller immediately. I installed the blade guards which also helped with takeoff and landing in the grass and on the deck. The headless mode i found most helpful especially on my first few flights. The controller is easy to operate and I mastered driving around my back yard within 15 minutes. I did crash into a few of my juniper bushes but it did not affect the drones performance or break the blades. It is sturdier than I expected! It comes with a conveinent carrying case, extra battery, and extra blades too. I was able to really enjoy flying this drone and I would recommend it to beginners and experts just to have some fun.

This is a phenomenal little drone. Great begginer level drone and a steal at the price. I got this and busted it out. Had it flying in less than a minute and it is so much fun. I am apparently an amateur pilot because o crashed it multiple times with no obvious breakage on the stone. Still works and connects to phone. The WiFi connection is a little glitchy but the drone will auto land if it glitches too hard. I had a scare when I thought is was going to land on the roof but it actually sensed the roof and continued to fly until it landed in the yard. The children next door also had a fun time with it until the batteries went dead. Recharge was quick and painless. I will absolutely be buying another one when I manage to break this one. ( it hasn’t happened yet!)

Great gift for my son. You probably need to have supervision for anyone under about 14 years old to use this. While the hardware is great, the app software isn’t and it has a lot of trouble connecting. It flies stable and we had a lot of fun with it. Runtime is decent.
