Bright if needed and good quality
A little pricey but much cheaper than Philips. Get more bang out of your buck to buy the pack instead of the single bulb. Doesn’t seem to work with my dimmable fixtures but you can easily dim them in the app. Also if you turn them off in the app the light switch won’t turn them on. So constantly leave them on in the app and just use your light switch to turn them off and on. Has color features and a separate section on the app for warm or cool light that are both dimable. The lights definitely can turn up pretty bright if you need them to. I don’t have any flickering and they are consistent . Very easy to install

Easy to Set Up
I’ll update this as I use them but the devices have been a life saver since I’ve been using them the last three days. I have ADHD and my partner is a stickler for turning lights off. It’s much easier for me to remember or correct if I can just tell Google to do it for me. Hopefully this helps with our electricity bill. I purchased these as a bit of a last resort since I’m a diehard Govee products fan, but they do not make an E12 lightbulb. Honestly I’m delighted by the quality of these bulbs and if they continue to work without a hitch I may consider other products in this companies line up.I was able to smoothly connect them to the app and subsequently to Google. The grouping devices feature of the app is amazing and also syncs with Google assistant so you can say “turn off the [group name]” and it will recognize it as a device. This is something I’ve struggled with in other products so I was surprised when it worked smoothly.

Worked For a While, Now They’re Glitchy
I bought these back in March 2024 (about 5 months ago) and they worked well for a while. Now one or two bulbs will randomly lose connection to wifi and I have to unscrew it, screw it back in, and then wait 5 minutes (or longer) before it comes back online. The wifi in my room works fine, I’ve got a smart TV that streams just fine, my laptop works fine, basically every other smart device works fine except these bulbs.UPDATE: The company reached out to me and sent two replacement bulbs. So far, they are working but it’s only been a few months. I’m happy to change this to a 4-star review for now.

The BEST invention since SLICED BREAD!!!!
I have bought smart bulbs for EVERY SINGLE light fixture in my room!!!! Why?!… A better question is WHY NOT?!… When you replace a bulb that is bound by ONE COLOR, ONE BRIGHTNESS, and Does NOTHING but turn on and off, with a SMART BULB like these ones, it’s like going from living In black and white, to all of the sudden have color splashed all over your room or house! I mean not only does these bulbs save money In the sense of they can be ANYTHING you want them to be, from a bright white color so you can clean every inch of your room, they can be a soft and cozy yellow to relax and Netflix and chill on your couch, and they can also be set to absolutely crazy party time when you use the app and turn on the setting that makes your SMART bulbs react to the sound of whatever music your listening too!!! So for those three reasons alone, that’s enough to convince me just how “worth it” it is to switch from the boring old traditional bulbs we grew up with, to SMART bulbs that can do almost anything you could imagine when it comes to lighting! Not only that, I bet you, if you go down to your local shopping center, whatever that may be, your gonna look at the smart bulbs they have there, get all excited, and then look at the price and then quietly put them back! Because what they charge in most box stores today is OUTRAGEOUS! I did the research and math, to switch all the bulbs in my room to smart bulbs, I would have had to buy 5 regular bulbs and 3 candelabra bulbs, but they only sell smart bulbs individually or in packs of four for both sizes that I needed! So I would have wound up paying literally almost 100$ more had I not found the LIGHTINGINSIDE store here on AMAZON! Because they sold a wide variety of base types and number of bulbs that you need, I literally saved almost 100$ as compared to what I would have paid by just going to my local Walmart…. Oops, did I say that?! Lol if you don’t believe me, do your homework, you can tell me I was right when you order these bulbs and review them for yourself! WAAAAAIT, I forgot to mention one of the BEST FEATURES THESE BULBS HAVE!!!… They work with your Amazon Alexa products perfectly! So when I get home, I can tell Alexa to turn on my party lights, and just like that I have colors EVERYWHERE going to the beat of my music!…. PEACE!

Not reliable at all
These have been incredibly disappointing. They worked for a few weeks and then one by one, they disconnected from wifi and/or my app and could no longer be controlled by Alexa or the app. I had to reconnect them… and then they disconnected again. This has happened every week or so since I got them. It was not worth it at all, and I don’t know how they have such good reviews. It was nice to be able to control brightness and shade, but they are so unreliable that I would buy something else. They haven’t burned out but I’m still probably going to replace them with a decent brand.

Quick Failure at First, but Great Customer Service
These worked well at first, but over the course of one year, two of the three bulbs failed. I tried resetting, and swapping them to another fixture, but they do absolutely nothing. They are in an enclosed ceiling fan fixture, but there was no info in the Amazon listing showing that these would not work under those conditions.Edit-The seller reached out following my original review and sent me a replacement set of bulbs. They are installed and working great so far!

Were they easy to connect, sure but they weren’t as responsive as you’d have hoped. I’d have to turn them off and on a few times for them all to work and it’s been just over a month, and ones already dead. I mean, I should’ve known when I opened the box, there was a little mini light bulb among other things, so I’m sure it was a return but I kinda hoped they’d last longer.

Bought in June, in July one of the bulbs no longer turns on. They are all connected to the same light source, and we swapped the working/dead bulbs around in the sockets, to confirm one of them simply does not work anymore. It doesn’t even emit light, so it’s entirely useless now.
