Pretty surprised with my purchase
Love the packaging and accessories included with led strip kit. You get2x 50 feet rgb ic strips1x remote controller with batteries included1x connect hub1x wall charger1x bag of sticky wall mounting accessoriesDetailed owners manual with warranty, app link download. I have android phone so am not sure will iPhone work or not.So far am pretty happy with my purchase. Everything works out of the box. Fast BT connection with my phone. With the newest Android app changing setting really works on the fly real time. There is bunch of options and pre-configured effects but I wish there is even more. Or a link where to download more lighting effects.So far I haven’t have luck when buying led strips from another brands on Amazon. They usually work for about 3 months and something goes wrong with them. I really hope these last more because in instructions manual it states 18 months warranty from the date of purchase. I decide to write extended review just because I really like the quality of everything that’s in the box. We will be purchasing more in future. If they can last more than 90 days. Heads up for quality product

Remote doesn’t work. Software is tricky, beware.
Firstly, the lights work perfectly and as described in the add. Overall, im satisified with the product but there are caveats. The add does not specify if these strips also emit just plain old white light, as far as i remember. It was never a concern of mine but after having them up, sometimes i wish they could just emit regular white light. The white plastic remote the lights came with does not work. I went out and bought another one of those small round batteries to make sure it wasn’t the battery it was sent with. Those special batteries are surprisingly expensive. This forces me to use my phone to control the lights, which is actually pretty nifty, but I probably downloaded Spyware doing it. The way it’s setup in order to get to the actual software to control the lights, it is designed in such a way to trick you into downloading something completely useless and i suspect it is highly likely to be a Spyware program that masquerades as something else. Before I realized it was not the software I needed, it was already downloaded. I clicked on it because I followed the exact direction of the booklet the lights came with to get to the app. The page first presents you with a tricky page type of thing done in such a way that can trigger the uncautious, as I was, to stupidly download some unknown data. Be cautious going through the process of adding the app that controls the lights onto your device. I mean, re-read what you read and then re-read that again. Then, read things again and do it all before clicking on anything. With that said, lights work great! Lol.

You can select the length! Works perfectly!
The app allows you to select how many leds there are which means you can customize the length you need so the effects work correctly. For example, on other brands of RGBIC lights if you had 50ft strip and you cut off 20, the controller and app doesn’t know you cut off that 20, so if you have chasing lights effect it would get to the part where you cut and keep lighting LEDS that aren’t there so you would see nothing until it’s done lighting the missing LEDs before returning to the first. But this app lets you select the exact number of LEDs you have so if you cut some off no problem, it will stop the effect exactly where it’s cut and resume at the other end like it should.

Not the greatest quality
Not many different style options for the lights to illuminate around the strip. There is like a strobe, solid and a couple more options. They are not as bright as the competition either. No where near as many options as the competition as well.

Ok for the price.
Lights are decent for the price. You can use either Bluetooth or remote. I suggest using Bluetooth because the remote feels like it will snap in half. Lights could be a little brighter. Not as bright as the regular rgb lights I have. There’s a music mode and tape mode you can use on your phone for the lights to dance around. There’s yellow,blue,green,red,purple,light blue and white light. You can download app from app store.

Great RGB+IC Lights for the price. Plus…
You can’t beat the price for this RGB+IC led strip. It may not be a Govee, but this is perfect for my intended use. The lights are bright enough, and the adhesive sticks very well. You have to make sure the surface is oil and dust free. I like the chasing feature, and my family loved it. An added bonus is the very responsive customer service. I asked where I could buy another controller, and they responded immediately. They didn’t send me a link. Instead, they sent one free. Now that’s a great way to retain customers. I will surely buy from them again.

Best bang for your buck!
Order came in next day. Packaging was great, everything in place. Box was not damaged. Read instructions to assure proper installation. So the adhesive on the back of the strip is extremely sticky…so be sure where you want it adhere to. Both 50ft stripes connected perfectly fine. Brightness of strips are great no dead zones. App is easy to use and even easier to download. Perfect QR code on receiver allows anyone to download and play with the lights. My kids love it. Going so just a fyi if you going to cut it make sure you cut it on the designated line. If you cut it anywhere in between that section will not work. Definitely going to buy more for under the kids beds. You guys need to buy this. Oh almost forgot the seller sent a message to me giving me a break down of the product and details found that pretty cool of them to do.
