Outstanding Smart Bulb — Bright, Colorful, and So Easy to Use!
The Sengled Matter Smart LED Bulb is absolutely fantastic! The colors are vibrant, the brightness is excellent, and setup was super quick. Not too bright!
Bulb is more for accent lighting than a primary light source. I use it more as a night light and works great for that. Seems to need resetting frequently but is easy to do.

SENGLED APP IS CONSTANTLY CRASHING…WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT AND A FRUSTRATION…NOT A GOOD INVESTMENT
what a disappointment! The Sengled Company used to provide a terrific product. I set up all of my lights with their smart bulbs and their app worked great…never any issues at all. But over the past year or so, their current app(s) have crashed frequently, making their products fall practically useless when used in conjunction with the Alexis app. Amazon would issue a notice saying Sengled was having app problems. OK, so I tried using their app stand alone to operate their bulbs, but because their app is so shaky that wouldn’t work either. I spent a great deal of money buying their products and they’re no rendered completely useless until they apply a workaround to their current app. And then the cycle begins all over again within weeks. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SMART BULBS OR SMART TECHNOLOGY. I will be purchasing new smart bulbs from an established company from now on….sure, I will be paying a little more money per bulb, but it will end the intense frustration of not having working smart bulbs at my disposal. I’m SO SICK OF SENGLED’s products not working. As a disabled senior, I rely on smart technology to run my lights and appliances. When I can’t operate them using Alexis I get frustrated, but I thought I could at least operate them using the SENGLED app. But it’s their app that is crashing all the time…they must employ third-rate coders and programmers. My recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM SENGLES PRODUCTS…THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE

WIFI Issue. Had to change router settings.
I like some others couldn’t get this light to connect to my wifi using Alexa. And YES, it needs wifi regardless what some have said. But it should get the password from Alexa from when you set up your Echo. If it asks you over and over again for your wifi password during setup, but then fails, your router settings may need changed.At first I couldn’t connect this bulb. After I gave up I then tried to connect a Ring camera and I had the same issue. Ring wouldn’t connect to my wifi.This bulb needs a 2.4GHz connection on your wireless router. Ring’s troubleshooting helped me. I made three changes to my settings. I simplified my 2.4GHz ID and Password. Took out all special characters. Only used numbers and uppercase and lowercase characters. Third thing I changed, and what I believe solved my problem, was that I changed my router channel from “auto” (which at the time it was using channel 2) and I switched the channel setting to “6”. Per Ring’s help guide, it suggested using channels 1, 6 or 11. Also, before I made these changes I had switched my Echo from the 5GHz connection to the 2.4GHz connection.After making those three changes the Sengled light bulb connected using the Alexa app and never asked for wifi connection or password. It was automatic. My Ring connected also after changing my router settings.I hope this helps someone else.
