Remote shutter button works for both android and iPhone interchangeably
The tripod is durable enough for indoor use and outdoor use in light winds. Do not use in heavy winds and risk having your phone toppled over. Size is compact. Opening the first time is a bit confusing, but only the first time. Height adjustability is good. Angle adjustability is good unless you need the phone to point straight down while demonstrating a tool or product on a table or desk–you’ll need a ball head tripod for that (fortunately the remote shutter will work with any other tripod). The expandable phone holder was able to hold my phone without having to remove the case, but it was a very tight fit–almost to the point that I worried it would damage my phone case. They should make these bigger because taking off most phone cases is a pain.This remote shutter works wonderfully and I would have happily paid this much for the shutter even without a tripod. My remote did not have the silver paint to highlight which button was for android and which was for iPhone. At first this bothered me but then I tested and discovered that with my android phone I could start recording with one button (either button) and stop recording with the same button or the other button. There was no marking near to power switch to indicate whether it was on or off and I worried I would leave it on and drain the battery. When you turn it on, you get a pairing light but then that goes out. So I took my engraving pin and scratched a 1 for on and a 0 for off beside the switch and then used a toothpick to apply gold metallic paint in the scratches. I also took a piece of bright orange twine and made a lanyard to make it hard for me to lose the remote shutter. It’s such an important piece, I am considering buying an airtag to stick on it.

A single Tripod: Numerous possibilities!
My son is really into photography, especially for non-profit organizations, so this was a good gift for him.Its use is really simple. Also, its functionality is very simple for anyone to use. It has a small size, and can become long and short at will.Also, with the remote, it is a HUGE save, to not press the camera button on the phone, and to just click a remote. So sleek and resourceful! The bluetooth is also very simple: Just go to bluetooth settings, and turn your remote on. You should see your remote’s name on the list, and click it. Once it Connects, you’re done!All in All, this is a really great tool in photography, and I truly do recommend this camera stick.

Great for timelapse photography
Bought this for timelapse photography and was not disappointed. The stand is sturdy and did not budge helping make for great timelapse results. The height was hard to believe when I saw it collapsed and folded up. It expanded easily, was incredibly adjustable to any point I wanted and it did not take up a huge amount of space when I had to leave it in place for a few days. The remote is included and works but I will have to find a use for it.
