Flawless Performance in Small Package
Available for a Black Friday sale price of less than US$70, this external SSD hard drive was priced competitively, so I bought one for my new Tablo TV device to dramatically enhance its recording memory. Two obvious advantages of a SSD drive are speed and no need for external power. I might add that this drive was surprisingly small.When I plugged it into my Tablo TV device it was immediately recognized with an offer to format it for use. Once that was done, the device showed the total of both its internal memory and this solid state drive. Since then, this drive has performed flawlessly and occupies just a tiny space next to my Tablo TV device.

Very high quality SSD, would reccomend!
This Portable SSD made by the SSK brand has been a huge help in my website developing business. The high speed aspect of the SSD allows me to quickly write and read for quick transfers. I accidently dropped the SSD, but there was no scuffs or dents because of the high durability. Since this is an SSD, it makes no noise, which makes it a lot better for silent working. This SSD was plug and play, and worked straight away, with its 1TB storage size, It should last me a long time.

Compact and Fast Data Transfer
Overall, this is a great SSD with ample space for the price. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for an external portable HD that has a large amount of space which is great for holding any type of file. My main use for this HD was to hold music files I am transferring from an older HDD hard drive. Please see my list of pros and cons below.Pros:- Item is well constructed and has a quality feel to it.- Item is compact and has a key ring attachment making it easy for transportation.- Data transfer speeds are fast, making it easier to transfer larger files or a larger number of files at once.- Good price for a quality drive with ample space.Cons: I honestly don’t have any cons at this time. The only possible con is that from what I believe, you can only format this drive as exfat and not ntfs.

I was searching for an external drive to store the videos and pictures from my iPhone. Transferring them from my phone to an external hard drive using my laptop was too slow and kept crashing, so I found this one. After reading the reviews, I decided to give the external ssd a try. It’s small and easy to carry with you without the bulkiness.The best external ssd I have purchased so far that works well with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, providing fast video and photos transfer with no issues. Works well until it doesn’t. Very small and decently fast data transfer rates. Purchased july 2024 and as of sept 2025 this ssd no longer works. This was used as a backup once per month, always ejected safely and stored in a desk. It now connects for a few seconds before ejecting itself. I’m unable to access the backed up data or run any disk repair on the ssd. The SSK site claims a 3 year warranty on SSD’s, which after shipping back to them they sent a brand new ssd and paid for shipping. Hopefully this new one lasts longer…
