Definitely a great buy
Best small tripod out here , currently using it with my zve10 with a sigma and not once it fell over , if you have a small camera with a compact lens would definitely recommend, easy to use , very portable , doesn’t take a lot of space in your bag, can use with either the phone or a small compact camera , very sturdy and stable tripod , great value for the money

Essential piece of kit.
Very sturdy and wide base. Will not tip over when fully extended using phone mount with phone in OtterBox defender. Not something you can carry in your pocket but it can be carried in a backpack easily. Has a little bit of weight to it but that’s a good thing. When fully extended horizontally there is a little bit of flexibility but not much. It isn’t meant for horizontal extension but handles a GoPro just fine. The phone mount is integrated into the base but I won’t be using that because if that breaks, there’s no way to replace it. If I do attach a phone, I’ll be using an additional phone mount that can be easily replaced if broken. The integrated ball mount orients freely to most positions but only allows horizontal orientation in one position relative to the base. I recommend purchasing an additional ball mount or short arm to compensate for this. Satisfied customer right here.

Works well! Just needs remote
It worked great and was very sturdy – the only reason I felt like it wasn’t 5 stars was because it didn’t include a remote control – which makes it harder to get in position for photos and take many in a row. Otherwise the size, grip and fit was great for a backpack when you travel and had good stability when you put it down (as long as it wasn’t a super windy day).

Small, light, and incredibly versatile.
The ULANZI MT-44 tripod is extremely versatile, serving as both a tripod and a selfie stick, offering multifunctional utility for solo content creators like myself. Its built-in tripod base provides good stability, especially at lower extensions, while its extendable design, reaching up to 59″, offers flexibility in capturing the perfect shot from various angles. It’s great pairing it with the DJI OSMO Pocket line. Both are small and easy to carry. While the OSMO Pocket can act like a stationary camera-man with its tracking, it’s the ULANZI MT-44 that gives it the lift it needs to reach eye height. Also, it’s really easy to walk and vlog with the OSMO Pocket using the MT-44 as a selfie stick.For smartphones, its built-in smartphone mount includes a cold shoe for additional accessories. I’ve found it great for blogging, capturing B-roll, or sitting by the beach filming a sunset. The beach experience did reveal a caveat about the unit that should be fairly obvious, which is the more the tripod is extended, the more unstable it becomes. However, I was walking around town all day and didn’t want to lug a larger more stable tripod, so I kept the ULANZI MT-44 at a lower extension and turned on Action Mode on my iPhone to capture well stabilized footage of the sunset.

I love this ULANZI MA09 tripod! It’s sturdy even though light weight and handles the weight of my iPhone and flash. Super tall at 71″, and perfect for selfies, vlogs, or just hands-free filming. Wish it came with a carry case but over all, the other features make up for that. I bought a few others and ended up returning them. I kept this one. The extendable legs and flexible setup make it easy to use anywhere, and it feels solid without being heavy. Makes filming and capturing moments so much more fun and stress-free!

Heavy for selfie stick and unstable as tripod.
Too heavy for an extended selfie stick and lacks stability in tripod mode. I wanted a bit more reach than my otherwise excellent ULANZI MT-16 offered and hoping to replace it plus my EICAUS 67” with Pan Head while traveling. The EICAUS is much more stable and able to support a Sony a7cII mirrorless camera, which the ULANZI MT-44 is not. I’ll stick with the MT-16 + EICAUS combo.
