Black Code Keypad
So far so good. It has an automatic lock after 30 seconds that’s optional and pretty convenient. Locks with one push of a button which helps when you’re in a hurry. Looks nice, easy to use and was easy to install.

Great, simple keypad lock
We wanted a basic, no wifi or bluetooth and this fit the bill! Install was super easy, but did have 1 minor issue! Once installed, when it went to lock, the deadbolt was rubbing against the interior and it would beep away as if it had low batteries. Took me a bit to figure out…..I had new batteries, then noticed the manual lever was not quite horizontal when locked. Was a simple fix, got out a screw driver and chiseled a bit away, viola, fixed!! So far has worked flawlessly. Love that it has a key option as well. 2 thumbs up

Great lock
So far so good. We like that this lock has tactile buttons rather than the screen that many locks seem to have now. We also like that this one does not have wifi/smart capability.

Quick and not too noisy. Good quality so far. Not unnecessary features that will break early. Satisfying and it looks good for the future. The only downside compared to my previous 2 lock would be that you need to press the home botton prefore and after entering the code. The before hand press is frustrating when you enter your code before testing the door and it was not locked because you end up locking the door. Funny when you think about it but frustrating when it happens.

We had 2 Schlage units that failed. Decided to try this one with less bells and whistles. The unit is nice, small and simple to use. A bit more work to unlock but it’s quiet operation. Very smooth and the price was just right. I have it a 4 star and not 5 because you have to press the Yale button 2 X to unlock and most times the first push doesn’t work.
